Game Rules

  1. The Dealer's hand is dealt in strict accordance to the rules of the Casino.

  2. The Dealer stands on all 17 and draws on 16.

  3. If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is bust. If your hand is not bust, you automatically win.

  4. This version of Blackjack is played with a single deck of cards that is shuffled after the completion of every game.

  5. You may draw up to nine additional cards to make a hand of eleven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed 21. If your hand does not exceeded 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays his hand.

  6. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts, are lost.

  7. All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens, have a value of 10.

  8. Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11, depending on what is more beneficial to your hand.

  9. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Your hand automatically stands. It cannot be beaten, only matched. If you beat the Dealer with a Blackjack you are paid out at 3 to 2.

  10. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand.

  11. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.

  12. If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a value of 10, this is not a Blackjack. This hand has a value of 21.

    Note:
This rule also applies to splitting pairs of cards with a value of 10.

  13. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. You are dealt one card and your hand automatically stands. Doubling costs the same as your original bet.

  14. You can take Insurance if the Dealer's first card is an Ace. Insurance costs half your original bet.

  15. Insurance only covers your original bet. It does not cover any second hand, or double down bet.

  16. When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a Push. You are paid your original bet.

  17. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21.

  18. If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is considered a Push.
